Computer Requirements Include:
Internet access and
E-mail using your Netscape or Internet Explorer Web browser.
See individual classes for additional requirements.
- We offer
not-for-credit online classes in Business and Finance,
Computers, Continuing Education for Medical Professionals,
Courses for Teaching Professionals, GED Test Preparation,
Languages, Photography, Writing and many other areas.
- If there is a class not
currently offered that you would like to take, let us know
and we will work with you to customize our schedule to fit
your needs and your schedule.
- All classes are not-for-credit, but a
"letter of completion" is available.
- All classroom lessons, tutorials, demonstrations,
reference materials, quizzes, and assignments done online.
- Course descriptions, instructor names and biographies,
and complete computer requirements for each class
available online.
- An interactive discussion area is provided where
students can post a question or inquiry.
- All courses run for six weeks
with two lessons released each
week except continuing education courses for medical
professionals. All course material
is available at one time for the medical online classes.
- Once registration is
completed, all students are sent an email confirmation to
the email address provided at the time of registration.
This email directs students to complete a mandatory
"orientation" as the final step of the
registration process for online classes.
- A transfer from one class/event to another is
available for an additional $10 transfer fee.
- Refunds are not available for
online classes.
