Registration is accepted on a first-come,
first-served basis. Online, mail-in and fax registration begins as soon as
you receive our Community Programs brochure or classes are posted online.
Students 16 years and older may
enroll in adult classes.
Pre-registration is recommended
as most classes have enrollment limits.
CONFIRMATION OF
REGISTRATION
When you register online, you will first receive an electronic
acknowledgment through your email, then a confirmation
of registration status and after your credit
card is authorized you will receive a final more comprehensive confirmation
that includes the date, time and location of your class, as well as the
price paid. Maps, supply lists and information specific to your
class are also available online.
COUPONS
Discount coupons may be used with
mail-in or walk-in registration
(not available with online registration). Attach the coupon to the registration form.
No fee adjustment or refund will be given after registration. Only one
discount or coupon per activity please. Discounts cannot be combined.
CANCELLED CLASSES
Advance registration is
recommended to avoid cancelled classes; however,
in the event enrollment minimums are not met, the class may be cancelled.
Registered students will be notified in advance and have
the fees transferred to another class at no charge or choose to receive a
full refund.
REFUND/TRANSFERS
Please take care in selecting
classes to avoid refund and transfer fees. If you cannot attend a class for
which you are registered, a written request must be received in the
Community Programs office
5 business days before the activity
begins.
The refund, minus a $10 processing fee per class, will be issued within 3-4
weeks. A transfer from one class/event to another is
available for a $5 transfer fee. Refunds are not available for
Public Events or online classes.
SENIOR DISCOUNTS
Adults 62 years and older receive a 10%
discount on Community Education classes.
The senior discount does not apply to
Public Events or Online Courses. Discounts cannot be
combined.

events (Writers' Conference, Senior's Day, Learning Disabilities
Conference), Public Events or
online classes.
PARKING
Cuesta College Parking permits are
required for vehicles parked on the North County and San Luis Obispo
campuses on Monday through Saturday, 7am - 10pm, whenever the College is in
session.
$1 daily permit machines
are located in all paved lots.
As a registered community
student, you may opt to purchase a semester permit for $10 (Fall
& Spring) or $7.50 (Summer) from the Community Programs Office by
mail, fax, phone, or walk-in registration.
BROCHURE LOCATIONS
Additional brochures are available in county libraries and Chambers of
Commerce, as well as Cuesta College North County and San Luis Obispo
campuses.

Cuesta College Community Programs is actively looking for
area business and individuals that are interested in
sponsoring scholarships for special programs. For more

Programs Director.
Tax deductible gift-giving opportunities are available for
Writers' Conference, College for
Kids, Swim Lessons, Youth Sports Camps, Seniors' Day, Youth
Chamber Music Festival and other events.
